PLACING AN ORDER
It’s easy, just call us, fax your order or order online. Just give us our part number(s) and your vehicle information, for example, Automatic or Manual transmission, with or without gauges, with or with out Air Conditioning and body style of your car. Phone & Internet orders may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover & Paypal. No C.O.D’s. Money orders and Certified bank checks are accepted but require a 2 week clearing period.

SALES TAX – No way around it!
Any orders outside New York are exempt from sales tax. New York residents are required to pay the appropriate current sales tax. Due to regular variations in New York sales tax, rates are subject to change without notice. New York residences are required to pay applicable sales tax. On orders within the New York Area, sales tax will be automatically charged.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Most items are shipped via UPS Ground Service. This is the quickest, most effective & trackable means of delivery. We are shipping to all of the lower 48 states. Alaska,Canada and Countries outside the continental United States via United States Postal Service. We will need your complete delivery address when ordering. Sorry, UPS will not deliver to a Post Office Box. So there is no confusion, UPS attempts to deliver your part(s) to the address given to us three times. If after that, UPS will then return your shipment to us. On the first attempt, UPS will leave a note stating their next delivery date and other delivery information. For any reason you cannot be there for delivery, please make arrangements for someone else top be there (relative, neighbor) or contact UPS for other arrangements. Any shipments returned to us because of non-delivery by UPS, there will be a return charge. We do ask that any order you receive and the shipping box is damaged; check the condition of the part(s) before accepting the shipment. No C.O.D’s. please remember that backorders and dropships and are shipped separately.

UPS/OVERSIZE ITEMS
Any item(s) which are considered Oversized by UPS standards can be shipped via UPS but at an oversize rate. Oversize item(s) which are more that 30 lbs. Will be charged in according to their weight. Some products we carry that are oversized but may not be indicated as such. We reserve the right to charge the UPS oversize fee on any order which contains a part(s) that is oversized even though it may not be stated.

HAWAII
All Hawaiian orders are shipped via UPS 2nd day air delivery whenever possible. All orders must be pre-paid. Shipping charges depend on the items being shipped and current UPS rates. Any orders for this location, the parties ordering will receive a phone call, stating the exact shipping fee. No C.O.D.

NEED THE PARTS FASTER
UPS does offer a 3 Day Guaranteed Ground, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air for these times when you simply have to have it now. Unfortunately the cost of such service is expensive. If you need, we can give you a shipping quote before making that decision. This applies to the part(s) we have in stock.

DAMAGE CLAIMS
The person receiving the delivery must inspect the contents of the package at the time of delivery in the presence of the delivery person. It is the responsibility of the carrier to deliver the merchandise in good condition. It is unlikely but in case you receive a package that is damaged or has been opened, make sure the driver notes this fact. Immediately contact UPS so that they can inspect the package as soon as possible. UPS will then contact us so we may process the claim and arrange for replacement of the damaged merchandise. It’s important that these instructions are followed the event of a damaged or opened package. East Coast Chevelle cannot honor a damage claim unless the delivering company has a record on file within 3 days of the delivery. East Coast Chevelle is not responsible for damages not reported within 3 days of receipt.

SHIPPING INSURANCE
Every order over $100.00 is charged an insurance fee of $1.00 per hundred. This fee will insure the entire order and protect you completely from damage or loss.

RETURNS
If you are not 100% satisfied, Please state the reasons or problems on your original invoice and return it with the part(s) new, unused parts in the original package within 15 days to us, prepaid for a Store credit for the part(s) returned. Please note there is a 20% re-stocking fee applied. All part(s) that we sell are guaranteed against defects in material, workmanship for 30 days from the date you receive your parts, verified by UPS tracking. Liability is limited to the replacement of defective parts only. All refunds will be in the form of a store credit unless the part is returned within 7 days of purchase, then credit will be issued To The Original Credit Card Used. We do ask that any order you receive and the shipping box is damaged; check the condition of the part(s) before accepting the shipment. We recommend test fitting parts before modifying or painting them. Parts Modified , marked or painted will not be returnable.
